Texture is very firm (broke nail forms trying to get it out) but yet easy to apply and work with. Very happy. Hope for more colours in the future.

I had a couple of nails broken right down low, so I ordered this solid builder gel to allow me to build a new nail and offer a layer of protection to let my natural nails grow longer again. I am used to using gel polish and already had the lamp and bought some dual forms to go along with the solid builder gel. I didn't order any slip solution (didn't know I needed it until I got started) but the nail cleanser that I wipe over a gel top coat seemed to do the trick. I also didn't order any clips to hold the forms in place while curing and will be getting some for next time and recommend anyone who is a beginner to get the clips.

"I love the opaque peachy shade to this; I've been looking for a shade that can be used to extend the nail bed without being too bright or pink, and this is perfect for that. However, I did find that the opacity and thickness made it hard to cure all the way through the solid builder gel. When I started to file the nail you could see uncured gel under the top layers.
Once cured though the nails are strong but still maintain flexibility.
So far I have just tried this on two nail repairs, but interested to see how a full set is going to go.

EDIT: having had a few months to play around with this I can hand-on-heart say this is my favorite new system and product! I always got lifting and breaks when I would wear acrylics, but you don't get that at all with this solid builder gel. You still need to cure the life out of it because of the opacity but I can live with that."

"This is a very honest review. I am not trained or have any experience with doing nails, I am self-taught from YouTube videos and this product was great and easy to use.

The application was easy with the right tools and slip solution. It's cured beautifully in 30 seconds and the forms popped off nicely. The product shapes up well with nail files without chipping or cracking. So happy with this product!!"

Now I did a whole set. It turned out okay, but as I mentioned in the title it takes practice to perfect this. Thankfully it's not a sharp learning curve. Turns out my 50-something (never will say her age online) year-old mother is apparently doing this and has been for some time. And she raves about it.
