Modelones - Ruby - 6Pcs Gel Polish Set 7ml

I have been a fan of Modelones for a very long time. When I first purchased from them, the packaging for their gel liquids were in a tiny 3mL bottle that was plastic. This wasn't the best packaging as their physical product did not play nice with plastic. Long story short: I did not have a great experience, I let them know, sent in pics, and they sent me more gels as an apology.Jump (wow 8 years) to the present. They have made many changes since then, and they are ALL for the best! I purchased these color changing gels because I love color changing polishes. I went with Modelones because I know their high standard. I mean you see the pictures! The phone holder is my daughter's hands, the other picture is of my hands. I did her nails and mine and we are wearing the same color, #1175.SIMPLY STUNNING! You have eyes people you can see the shine in the pictures! The color change is beautiful and the gift of these polishes is the HOLO glitter inside. So sneaky gorgeous, but then you get smacked in the face with a color SHIFT. You see black, you see the caramel color in the color change, but this # 1175 has a chartreuse shift! Chartreuse is my favorite shade of green, or more specifically, green and yellow. Just magical ???'? I tell you!I could go on forever on the polish: You will get quality, you will be able to do this at home, you will get a smooth application with beautiful self leveling and you will have longevity of wear. And it will bring you joy ??A note to REGULAR POLISH WEARERS: Modelones brings us amazing GEL polishes. These are not AIR DRYING! You must cure the polish in a UV/LED lamp. You also can't just put these polishes on 'bare nails' wait for it to dry and go'NO. There is prep that must be done, so if you are new to gel polish I suggest you watch the creators of YouTube, they will get you straight.Modelones you know what you do. ? No professional! Been getting my nails in salons for nearly a decade, consistently. Once Covid hit, I had to find something. Went thru my fair share of polishes to find that gel was way different applying than regular polish. Until I ordered myself some acrylic tips to glue on & this polish goes great over them! This was my first time doing the full process and today realized I've had them for 2 weeks, and almost no growth at all! I've had to glue a few of the nails back on but it's super easy and quick and you can't even tell, it doesn't bother me at all considering how much money I'm saving and also getting to do them exactly how I like! Highly recommend if you're just looking into it :)

I purchased the whole set just for Xmas because I wanted red/white for Xmas. I love mood temp polish so I know I will enjoy all the colors at some point. I'm a nail tech as well and enjoying using gel polish. I remove it with a drill over poly gel nails so it's easy. It would soak off with acetone as well but it takes longer because you need to soak then scrape and repeat process till it's fully removed then buff nails afterwards. Sometimes gel polish will peel if using over natural nails if your not prepping nails correctly or using thick coats. I'd give 5 stars if there was more product as it looks like I may only get a couple uses out of each color. The bottles are so small.

Haven't used it just yet, however! The packaging is very simple, slick & beautiful. I can't seem to get the polish open myself. I'll have to get hubby to losen them so I can readily use them. I'm very excited. The colors are beautiful! I can see them through the nail polish jar... Once again great packaging. The instructions are simple. Can't wait to give it a go! Thanks Modelones!

It's my first time trying out this brand and so far I'm pretty pleased. The colors in the set let you do a variety of Halloween looks. Most all of the colors are very pigmented and I really only used 1 to 2 layers for most. The only one I do have a small complaint about is the color changing orange to black polish. This one is very sheer and goes on more like a jelly nail polish than an opaque. It's the orange I used in the pictures (except for the pumpkin), the index finger is 3-4 layers the pinky is 2 with an ombre affect. I don't mind too much since the color is still very pretty and the color changing effect is really cool looking. As far as cure time, I just hit with 90 seconds on my led lamp and it cured fine. I recommend these for someone who already has gel polish bc it does not come with a base and top coat, although if you don't mind buying these separately then you can do that too. I will update if I have any issues with peeling
